Disability & Mental Health Recovery
Personalised psychosocial recovery support.
24/7 support in a shared living environment. Build your independence while having the security of knowing help is always available.
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is about living in your own home, not a hospital, not an institution, with the support you need to thrive. You share a house with other participants, but you have your own private space and make your own choices.
Our SIL support is tailored to your individual needs. Some people need support throughout the day and night; others might just need help at certain times. We work with you to find the right balance.
The goal is always to build your skills and confidence so you can live as independently as possible. We are here to support you, not to take over.

Our team is trained in mental health recovery principles. We understand that living with a psychosocial disability doesn't mean you can't achieve your goals. We are here to support you to live the life you want.
SIL is for NDIS participants who need regular support to live independently but don't need the intensive care of a group home or residential facility. It's particularly suitable for people with psychosocial disabilities who want to develop their independence.
Yes. You have your own private bedroom. Common areas like the kitchen, living room, and bathroom are shared with other residents. You're always able to retreat to your own space when you need privacy.
SIL support is funded through your NDIS plan. You'll pay rent and contribute to household costs (like food and utilities) from your personal income, similar to any rental arrangement. The support itself is covered by NDIS.
Of course. It's your home. You can have visitors, and we'll work with you and your housemates to ensure everyone feels comfortable. There may be some reasonable house guidelines around overnight guests.
Let's have a conversation about whether SIL is right for you. We can explain how it works and discuss your options.
