Support Coordination
Help navigating your NDIS plan and connecting with the right services.
Specialist support to improve quality of life, develop new skills, and reduce behaviours of concern through positive, proactive strategies that respect your dignity.
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is a specialist, evidence-based approach that helps people with disability live a better quality of life. It starts from the belief that behaviours of concern are a form of communication: a signal that something isn't working in a person's environment, relationships, or daily life.
Our NDIS-registered PBS Practitioners work with you, your family, and your support team to understand the underlying reasons for behaviours of concern. From there, we develop a tailored support plan that builds skills, strengthens relationships, and adjusts environments so that life becomes easier and more fulfilling.
PBS is never about control or compliance. It is about understanding, respect, and creating real, lasting change that puts you at the centre.

PBS is a collaborative process. Here is how we support participants, families, and teams.
We take the time to understand behaviours of concern in context: what happens before, during, and after, to identify triggers and unmet needs.
We develop a clear, practical Positive Behaviour Support Plan with proactive strategies, skill-building goals and, where needed, safe reactive strategies.
We focus on teaching alternative skills: communication, emotional regulation, and problem-solving, which reduce the need for behaviours of concern over time.
We train and coach support workers, family members, and carers so everyone around you is working consistently from the same plan.
We regularly review progress, measure outcomes, and adjust the plan as your needs and circumstances change. PBS is a living process, not a one-off document.
Where restrictive practices are in use, we ensure they are documented, authorised, and actively being reduced in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguarding requirements.
We'll talk with you and your support team about your situation, concerns, and goals. This helps us understand whether PBS is the right fit and how we can best help.
Our PBS Practitioner conducts a thorough assessment, observing, interviewing, and gathering information to understand the purpose and context of behaviours of concern.
We develop a personalised PBS Plan with you and your team, outlining proactive strategies, skill goals, and how everyone can support you consistently.
We support the plan to be put into practice, train your team, and review outcomes regularly, adjusting as needed to ensure lasting, positive change.
"Before PBS, our family felt like we were just managing from one crisis to the next. The plan gave us language to understand what was happening and real strategies that actually worked. It changed everything for us."
If you or someone you support is experiencing behaviours of concern, we are here to help. Get in touch for a no-obligation conversation about how PBS can make a difference.
