Program Coordinator

With a compassionate heart and a keen eye for detail, I am Livia Melo, a dedicated Program Coordinator committed to empowering individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling lives. My journey in the disability sector began five years ago, inspired by a personal family member. To better understand and navigate this new world, I started working as a support worker, where I discovered numerous ways to assist and uplift vulnerable people.

Symone

Administration Officer

My name is Symone, and I am a Cairns local. After working in hospitality for over 10 years, I felt the need to find a career with purpose. I have been working within the NDIS industry for five years now and have thoroughly enjoyed every moment. I began in the industry as a support worker, but then decided to upskill my knowledge and jumped into rostering and administration.

My passion for the industry stems from childhood and having grown up with an incredible uncle who was born blind. Growing up, I attended a primary school that included a special needs department. I spent many lunch breaks in the special needs department, helping and playing with fellow students. I enjoy working in this industry as it brings great satisfaction and fulfilment knowing you are making a positive impact in someone’s life.
